Pianist Robert Edward Thies, Gold Medal Winner of the Prokofiev Competition, Russia,

performs Rachmaninoff’s sweeping Paganini Rhapsody. One of the best-loved treasures

of the virtuoso repertoire for piano and orchestra, it has something for everyone. It’s an

electrifying vehicle for the solo pianist, it’s full of gorgeous melodies and it’s a powerful
