Welcome to our 2022-23 season.
We are celebrating our 30th year anniversary - 30 years of great music!
We are returning to in-person concerts and we can’t wait to see you!
Coming in January 2023 we are launching a new program called “Building Bridges Through Music” each concert will feature and celebrate a different culture.
Other great news is that our virtual concerts will continue this season and are here to stay!

Join us for an evening of some of the best cinema music ever written!
This year’s selections include music from film favorites such as Pirates of The Caribbean, Skyfall, Encanto, Her, Cinema Paradiso, Arrival and Edward Scissorhands.
Music performed by Yi-Huan Zhao, violin, Shelly Ren, violin, Matt Nabours, Viola, Garik Terzian, Cello, and Bryan Pezzone, piano. Stunning art direction and visuals by RJ De Leon Vega.

Opening Season In-Person Concert
Celebration!

Join us for our opening season in-person concert. We will open the evening with a glass of champagne to toast our 30th anniversary and to welcome audiences back to live music. Santa Cecilia Quartet performs music that celebrates this wonderful occasion. Music of Bizet, Holst, Puccini, Gershwin are part of a banquet of beautiful music!

Spooktacular III

Santa Cecilia Orchestra invites all ghouls, ghosts, and creatures of the night to join us in the ghastly return of our Halloween Spooktacular III virtual concert experience! By popular demand - it rises from beyond the grave, filled with a soul-stirring string quartet (Yi-Huan Zhao, Lisa Dodlinger, Matt Nabours & Simone Vittucci), a haunting pianist (Bryan Pezzone), and the phantom of the organ (Arthur Omura)!
Accompanied by eerie visuals from the delightfully spooky mind of director RJ De León Vega, You’ll experience everything from the haunting sounds of Hill House, to some Stranger tunes from The Upside Down… From thrillingly fun Halloween classics to the macabre masterpieces of modern horror. Join us (if you dare) for this special night of Halloween magic! Goosebumps, shivers, and wicked screams await!
Beyond Carmen

An homage to Bizet's Carmen! Join us for a special evening as guest artists mezzo-soprano Audrey Babcock and Flamenco guitarist Andres Vadin weave legends of the Old World into a 21st-century musical tapestry that spans generations and genres—from classical to tango, medieval to modern.

Teddy Bear Concert ~
Meet the String Family

A concert especially designed for the youngest in the family.
At this fun-filled concert, your family meets our string family to explore the sounds of the violin, viola, cello, and bass. Bring your stuffed animal to this delightful family concert that demonstrates how sounds, melodies, rhythms, and instruments can bring music to life. Kids and stuffed animals alike will enjoy the sublime sounds of the Santa Cecilia Orchestra's strings.
